A LAN (Local Area Network) is a network of computers and other devices operating in a localised area, such as an office, apartment, or building.

Individual network devices, such as a computer, tablet or printer, are connected to a single switch or router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi so that they can communicate with each other and share the same  network resources.

An efficient network ensures an effective  flow of information and enables the continuity of corporate business processes – this is particularly important in office networks.
